Air Garden creates a moment of serenity for travelers amidst a hectic airport environment at LAX. Weighing nearly 6000 pounds, the sculpture is comprised of 7092 stainless-steel chains hanging in catenary curve formations.

Air Garden created by artists Benjamin Ball and Gaston Nogues was recognized by Americans for the Arts Public Art Network (PAN) Year in Review which annually recognizes outstanding public art projects that represent the most compelling work for the year from across the country.
