Anne L'Ecuyer
Associate Vice President of Field Services

Anne L'EcuyerAnne L’Ecuyer is associate vice president for field services at Americans for the Arts. She joined the Americans for the Arts staff in September 2003 as a member of the Research and Information department.

In her current role, Anne leads a staff of seven determined to expand the knowledge, engagement, and visibility of arts professionals in the areas of arts education, civic engagement, community and economic development, arts leadership, and public art. The Field Services team delivers keynotes, plans programs and conferences, produces critical field communications, provides direct technical assistance, and fosters national partnerships—all to benefit those working on behalf of the arts in communities across the country. Anne also directs the organization-wide effort to produce the Americans for the Arts annual convention. She has served as editor of multiple Americans for the Arts Monographs, and is the author of Public Funding for the Arts at the Local Level.

Anne previously served as marketing director for the University System of Maryland, as program staff for Business Volunteers for the Arts—Phoenix, and in product development for a national printing company. She has consulted independently with businesses, nonprofits, and public institutions including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Academy of Leadership at the University of Maryland, Liz Lerman Dance Exchange, Project Kaleidoscope, and Experience Corps. Anne holds a B.A. from Northern Arizona University, and has completed master’s level coursework in public policy from the University of Maryland at College Park.
