Americans for the Arts is pleased to continue our work in engaging the motivated minds of those arts professionals age 35 and under or with limited experience in working in the arts. The 2003 convention offers many opportunities for Emerging Leaders including the 2003 preconference, peer group roundtables, and a discount on conference registration.
Cultural Citizens: The Emerging Arts Leadership
This year, Americans for the Arts is offering its first Emerging Leader Preconference, Cultural Citizens. This preconference is designed to directly serve and encourage the growth of emerging arts professionals. For more information please click on the link above.
Peer Groups
Throughout the convention, emerging leaders will meet with their peers as well as seasoned professionals in breakfast roundtable discussions to advance their skills and knowledge of the field. By working together, we hope to cultivate the next generation of arts leaders in America.
Discounted Conference Registration
Bring an Emerging Leader to the 2003 Convention and you will receive $50 off the sponsoring organizations convention registration (registration forms must be submitted together to qualify).
(An Emerging Leader registration must be paid by a sponsoring organization and must be processed at the same time as the sponsoring organization's registration to qualify for the discount. Only one discount per organization. If an emerging leader is attending the convention via an Americans for the Arts scholarship or other special offer the organization is not eligible to receive the $50 discount. Preconference only and team registrations do not receive the $50 discount.)
