This week, several Artists Committee members participated in a pre-show event at the Democratic National Convention to discuss the Arts Action Fund #ArtsVote campaign and ways that artists are getting involved in the 2020 election. If you missed it, you can still register for on-demand access to the virtual conversation! Stay tuned for a similar event next week at the Republican National Convention.

Also this week, meet one of our youngest members, who at age 10 is already working to make a difference for her community and generation, and get to know our new cohort of Arts & Culture Leaders of Color Fellows, who will work with us for the next year on racial and cultural equity goals in the Great Lakes region. On ArtsU, listen in on a discussion with leaders at an innovative arts + healthcare festival in upstate New York. And join us in saying goodbye to artist Luchita Hurtado, who was honored at the 2019 National Arts Awards (at age 98!) with the Carolyn Clark Powers Lifetime Achievement Award.
