Americans for the Arts Remembers Artist Luchita Hurtado
Artist Luchita Hurtado died at her home in Santa Monica, California, on August 13, at age 99. Hurtado was awarded the Carolyn Clark Powers Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2019 National Arts Awards. Americans for the Arts is fortunate to have been associated with Hurtado and is deeply saddened by her passing.
