The Fulton County Board of Commissioners created the Fulton County Arts Council in 1979 to enhance the quality of life for constituents. The FCAC is both partner and catalyst in developing arts opportunities, like the School Arts Program - a sixteen-year partnership with the Board of Education. Reaching approximately 150,000 students annually, the program garnered recognition as the first arts/education partnership team from the state of Georgia to be accepted into the prestigious Kennedy
