De Todos Caminos Somos Todos Uno, or From All Roads We Are All One, by Adriana M. Garcia, tells the story of how San Pedro Creek brought forth life and growth in San Antonio's diverse community.
On either end you see the moment of contact when the Payaya people (members of the Coalhuitecan Nation), who were settled along San Pedro Creek, encounter the European settlers. These were Governor Don Martín de Alarcón, Father Antonio de San Buenaventura y Olivares, Father Isidro Félix de Espinosa, and the Canary Islander families. The imagery moves through time as it comes towards the center of the mural where the San Pedro Springs (the source of San Pedro Creek) comes forth.
The mural is book-ended by a mother and father figure who are passing down San Antonio's cultural heritage to the next generation. The indigenous story of the Anhinga water bird gathering sustenance from the Blue Jaguar river spirit swirls from the storyteller’s lips and the cycle of life goes on.
