Digital Directions: Conversion Planning for the Media Arts

This report takes a look at representatives of the media arts as they develop a plan to carry their industry's aesthetic and political values, and move their organizations into the emerging global media culture.

The National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture (NAMAC) convened a series of seven working groups in partnership with member media arts organizations at sites throughout the .  Each groups mission was to consider the effects of digital conversion on the media arts field, and come up with recommendations for the growth in a digital media world. Topics discussed include: content and production, distribution, education, technology, and access.
