GENERAL

Research Abstract
Saint Paul Cultural Garden

The Saint Paul Cultural Garden is a full-color book of essays, photographs, maps, and poetry. It tells the story of a public art project that combined a variety of disciplines and media among different artists in honor of cultural difference in the city of St. Paul, Minnesota. Dedicated in 1993, the Saint Paul Cultural Garden provided a discussion amongst the participants which brought underlying issues of power and racism within our common democratic history to the surface.
