Americans for the Arts presents the 27th Annual Nancy Hanks Lecture on Arts and Public Policy on Monday, March 24 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

2012 Business Committee for the Arts award honorees discuss the importance of their businesses partnering with the arts.

Alec Baldwin and Nigel Lythgoe talk about the state of the arts in America at the 2012 Arts Advocacy Day. The acclaimed actor and producer talk about arts education and what inspires them.

“The most common cause of failure in leadership is produced by treating adaptive challenges as if they were technical problems", states leadership expert Ronald Heifetz. As leaders, we need to assess challenges in a way that gets at their root cause to ensure we are addressing the right problems and not focused on band-aid solutions.

Each year the BCA 10 honors ten businesses that have been exceptional partners with the arts. These companies set the standard of excellence and serve as role models for other businesses to follow. Join us and hear directly from three 2014 honorees about why they partner with the arts and learn how to create successful partnerships with the businesses in your community.
