The newest United Arts Fund in the country, Arts Alliance Tulsa (AAT), recently announced that 39 local arts nonprofits will be the recipients of funds raised in its inaugural campaign season. As a group, the organizations serve more than 1 million people every year, and produce more than $62 million in revenue for the local economy.

“We are thrilled with the response to our first year’s application process and the participation and excitement it is generating,” said AAT Executive Director, Todd Cunningham. “We are already working to promote and raise money for these outstanding 39 organizations. Tulsa should take great pride in the quality and diversity of its incredible creative arts community.”

Arts Alliance Tulsa, which was established over the summer, will soon follow this announcement with news about its first fundraising campaign, which will start in 2016. As a United Arts Fund, Arts Alliance Tulsa joins a group of 49 other such organizations around the country that raise money from local individuals, businesses, and foundations to regrant to local arts institutions and provide support to the cultural community.
