Congratulations to ArtsMemphis Community Engagement Fellowship

We are pleased to announce that ArtsMemphis Community Engagement Fellowship of Memphis, TN is the inaugural honoree of the Robert E. Gard award. This award recognizes and celebrates exemplary work at the intersection of the arts and community life and is one of seven annual leadership awards given out by Americans for the Arts recognizing outstanding leadership throughout the field.

Linda Steele, Chief Community Engagement Officer with ArtsMemphis, accepted the award on behalf of the program during the 2016 Annual Convention in Boston, MA.

ArtsMemphis Community Engagement Fellowship was one of eight projects in the running for the award. The fellowship program was a favorite among Americans for the Arts members and received the most votes in the spring.
