The Guided Tours at Urban Horizons
The Guided Tours at Urban Horizons Economic Development Center is part of the authors on-going series of collaborative projects that explore people in their personal space. For this article, the author interviewed five residents of a housing project called Urban Horizons in Bronx, New York. Excerpts from these interviews are provided. Residents talk about their personal histories as well as the place they felt most comfortable in their homes. Photographs from these homes, taken by the author who is a professional photographer, are included. The article reveals the significance that aesthetically pleasing living environments play in peoples lives.
