Americans for the Arts wants you to elect art professionals from the field to serve on one of four network advisory councils: Arts Education, Emerging Leaders, Private Sector, and Public Art.

Advisory council members use their expertise to advise Americans for the Arts staff on the development of network programs and services for use by the field. Voting closes Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. (EST) and is restricted to members of Americans for the Arts.

In order to make your selections for the ballot(s), participants must login to their Americans for the Arts accounts online and visit the Network & Councils page. Participants may select a single candidate per council ballot but may not submit more than one ballot per council, so choose wisely.

All candidates will be notified of their standing on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 and announced to the public on Tuesday, December 15, 2015.

For questions about voting in this year’s elections or for assistance retrieving your login information, please contact the Membership Department at [email protected] or call (202)371-2830.

In keeping with Americans for the Arts Diversity Statement, the advisory council will include a cross-section of members representing a diverse range of age, gender, ethnicity, geographical area, and experience level. To ensure this commitment to diversity, the council elections process will include a combination of member voting and council appointing to elect new council members.
