The following information was compiled for the State Policy Pilot Program Gap Analysis Project—a study conducted in part by Americans for the Arts and BarbWhitney from the University of Michigan, Flint. This project has helped to gain a greater understanding of trends and influences in arts education by comparing and contrasting policies currently in the ArtScan database with in-depth interviews with state level leaders.
