Nation's United Arts Funds Raise $85.5 Million in 2016

According to our survey of UAFs, organizations that raise money and broaden support for the arts, 2016 aggregate campaign revenue was $85.5 million suggesting that the UAF sector is continuing to recover from the recession. A majority of UAFs are addressing diversity, equity and inclusion in their grants programs and policies.

Business leader Ken Chenault, Chairman and CEO of the American Express Company, will present Americans for the Arts Nancy Hanks lecture alongside Lonny Bunch, Founding Director of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.
