Americans for the Arts today announced this year’s BCA 10: Best Businesses Partnering with the Arts in America honorees. Presented every year by Americans for the Arts’ Business Committee for the Arts (BCA), 10 U.S. companies, one partnership, and one individual will be honored for their exceptional commitment to the arts. The awards will be presented at a black-tie gala at the Central Park Boathouse on October 11, 2017. 

As a tribute and a thank you to all our partners, Americans for the Arts is placing this advertisement featuring all our cross-sector awardees from 2016 in eight publications this fall into early 2017. Our awardees will reach more than 200,000 readers and will appear on the pages of the Chronicle of Philanthropy, Politico, and the Nonprofit Times, just to name a few.

Presented by the Business Committee for the Arts (BCA), a division of Americans for the Arts, the annual award recognizes individuals for their extraordinary vision, leadership, and commitment to supporting the arts and for encouraging other businesses to follow their lead. 

Americans for the Arts is pleased to announce the BCA Hall of Fame and BCA Leadership Award honorees for 2016. The awards are presented annually by the Business Committee for the Arts (BCA), a division of Americans for the Arts.

More than 340 guests joined the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) and RACC’s Business Committee for the Arts at the Portland Art Museum on February 24, 2016 for the annual Arts Breakfast of Champions.

Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA) recently announced that Jane Chu, chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), will deliver the keynote event at the organization’s annual Business for the Arts Awards luncheon. The event, which will be held on March 9 at the Denver Performing Arts Center, will feature musical, dance, and theatrical performances in addition to the announcements of the awardees.

Each year, Americans for the Arts honors the best businesses partnering with the arts in America through the BCA10 awards. This summer, two of our previous honorees, Golden Artist Colors, Inc. (BCA 10 2012) and Scholastic Inc. (BCA 10 2013) have partnered to provide an unprecedented opportunity for art educators. Teachers of students who received recognition in the 2015 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards were invited to submit painted art-pieces for a chance to participate in a weeklong artist residency through the Sam & Adele Golden Foundation.

NV Energy(a 2015 BCA 10 honoree) employees have traveled across Nevada to share the story of their successful arts and business partnerships and celebrate their BCA 10 recognition. NV Energy has been supportive of the arts for nearly 30 years through the NV Energy Foundation, and in the past 10 years alone, the foundation has committed $3.4 million towards arts and culture initiatives in rural and urban Nevada.
