About A+ Art:

The City of Philadelphia’s Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy (OACCE), in partnership with Blick Art Materials and the School District of Philadelphia’s Office of the Arts and Academic Enrichment, presents the 9th annual A+ Art student art exhibition at City Hall.  A+ Art samples some of the most accomplished art from Kindergarten to Grade 12 representing all 10 City Council Districts.

The International Sculpture Center (ISC) is seeking panel proposals for the 28th International Sculpture Conference in Philadelphia, PA. Over 300 sculpture enthusiasts from around the world will gather this October 25-28, 2018 for engaging panel discussions, peer networking, and exciting cultural events surrounding topics in contemporary sculpture.

An evening dedicated to celebrate William Shakespeare’s influence in all areas of art, and his continued influence on the arts throughout Western Pennsylvania. The evening features Emmy-Award Winning actress, Ashley Clements--star of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.  This event will feature monologues and sonnets from Shakespeare’s works, as well as songs, dances, poetry, art, and musical numbers inspired by his work performed by area students and Pittsburgh professionals.

Presented by En Garde Arts, BASETRACK LIVE is a multidisciplinary work That includes theater, music, news media, journalism, and technology.  While embedded with the First Battalion, Eighth Marines in Southern Afghanistan, a group of photojournalists led by Teru Kuwayama started the online project that became the authentic dialogue of the performance.  Connecting Battalion members with their families and others around the world, the online project became a platform for documenting the range of perspectives and the emotional tolls of deployment and beyond.
