Creatubbles has announced the launch of a new platform, focused on connecting children around the world and nurturing their creativity.

It is the first purpose-built safe online space where children can share, discover, and interact with each others artwork in a meaningful way.

After creating and customising profiles, young artists can browse, share, Bubble (similar to a Like), and give feedback on each other’s work. For younger students, profiles are managed by an adult who must approve any comments received before the creator can see them.

Schools from around 25 countries have already signed up and are using Creatubbles galleries to host the artwork created for a number of global initiatives supported by the platform.

Maie Crumpton, spokesman at Creatubbles said: “We strongly believe that creativity is a critical life skill and it is our mission to support it in any way possible. The feedback we’ve received from the children themselves tells us that they love having an online identity and knowing that other young artists around the world are enjoying their work. They’re particularly excited by the feedback and engagement aspect. The platform in its early stages, but you can expect to see a lot of new and exciting features in the near future.”
