Kenneth Rainin Foundation Releases New Funding for Temporary Public Art Projects

Through its Open Spaces program, the Kenneth Rainin Foundation recently released a funding opporunity for temporary public art projects in Oakland and San Francisco. As a means to support projects that "engage communities, showcase artistic experimentation, and energize public spaces" the Rainin Foundation is accepting applications from artists and nonprofit organzations. Letters of interest will be accepted between May 6 and June 30, and up to four grants will be accepted ranging from $50,000 to $200,000.
