Portland, Oregon's Regional Arts & Culture Council received a $30,000 grant earlier this week to be used for Right Brain, an initiative providing integrated arts programming for K-8 students. The Right Brain Initiative works with classroom teachers and arts educators to unite the Arts with core subjects, allowing both to become more accessible to all students. In its eighth year, programming will reach over 26,000 students in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington Counties in Oregon.
